Grand Celebration of Annual Sports Day
Moti Ram Arya School conducted its Annual Sports Day with a lot of enthusiasm, energy, and pure sportsmanship on December 13 and 14, 2025. Students from the Chandigarh and Panchkula branches filled both days with energetic participation.The students through a wide range of physical and sporting activities exhibited impressive physical fitness, discipline, and cooperation.
Distinguished Chief Guests Inspire Young Athletes
The presence of the distinguished chief guests made the first day of the celebrations more gracious.Indian Army Brigadier Bharat Mehtani and Mr. V. C. Chauhan were the dignitaries who attended the day’s event while the second day was brightened by the presence of the former cricketer Mr. Amit Uniyal. His motivational words helped to uplift the spirit of the young participants.
Exciting Sports Events Reflect Competitive Spirit
Many different kinds of track events, races, and competitive games were the main attractions for the spectators and at the same time, those activities reflected the values of healthy competition, perseverance, and unity. The students displayed their quickness, endurance, and resolve to the full and thus won the heartfelt appreciation of the parents and the dignitaries present.
Cultural Performances Enrich the Celebration
The extravagant performances of students added color and culture to the event. The Ganesh Vandana started the ceremony in a very auspicious, graceful and religious way, while the Bhangra performance energized the whole place with its vivaciousness and fellow feeling.
Martial Arts and Gymnastics Impress the Audience
The martial arts and gymnastics exhibitions were, perhaps, the most attractive parts of the event, and they showed to the audience the amazing stamina, control, and accuracy that the performers possessed.
One of the highlights of Sports Day was the awe-inspiring creation of luminous sun rays that spelled out the school’s name which signified unity, energy, and a bright future for the students. The preparation of the formation was so perfect that its visual impact attracted a lot of applause.
Strong Management Support Ensures Success
During their speech at the event, the School Director, Mrs. Rachana Mahajan, alongside the President, Mr. Anil Mahajan, once again affirming the institution’s dedication to all-round education, brought to light the need for and the transportation of physical fitness, discipline and character development alongside academic success
The event’s shining success was a direct result of the constant support and supervision of the school management. The students performed excellently and got the approval of Dr. Seema Biji (Principal), Dr. Ritu Mago (Principal, M.R.A. Panchkula) and Mrs. Sonia Bhardwaj (Headmistress, M.R.A. Chandigarh)
