From Curiosity to Calling: The 15-Year Journey of Astrologer Jagmohan Sapra

Astrologer Jagmohan Sapra

A Journey That Was Never Planned

Some careers begin with a childhood dream. Others begin with a carefully planned decision. For Astrologer Jagmohan Sapra, astrology began in neither of these ways.

Born in Pune and brought up in Ludhiana, Jagmohan came from a disciplined family. His father served in the Indian Army and retired as an officer. His elder brother also followed the same path and later retired from the Army. With such a strong defence background at home, astrology was never an obvious career choice for him.

In fact, during the early years of his life, Jagmohan had no plans to become an astrologer.

He started his professional journey in marketing. However, alongside his work, one subject continued to attract his attention — astrology.

What began as simple curiosity slowly became a serious pursuit.

The Curiosity That Kept Growing

While working as a marketing professional, Jagmohan continued studying astrology in his free time. He read, observed and searched for answers to questions that conventional explanations could not always satisfy.

His curiosity took him to different astrologers. He met them, discussed horoscopes and tried to understand how planetary movements could connect with events in a person’s life.

But his real journey began when he met the person who would later become his guru.

His guru noticed something in him — a natural ability to observe, question and understand astrological patterns. He accepted Jagmohan as his student and began guiding him personally.

During their conversations, his guru would often ask him to prepare astrological calculations and readings, including Varshphal, the annual horoscope analysis. Jagmohan would study the charts, prepare his observations and return with questions.

His guru patiently cleared every doubt.

This process did more than teach him astrology. It trained him to question, analyse and look for logic behind every conclusion.

Learning Under Mr. Bharat Bhushan

A major part of Jagmohan Sapra’s practical learning and development took place under the guidance of Mr. Bharat Bhushan.

Instead of accepting astrology as a matter of blind belief, Jagmohan focused on practice. He studied horoscopes, observed real-life events and compared them with the patterns he saw in astrological charts.

The more he practised, the more his curiosity grew.

Yet, one challenge remained.

Even his own family did not initially believe that he was seriously practising astrology.

The Practice That Started With Friends

Jagmohan did not begin his journey with a large office, a public identity or hundreds of clients.

He started within his own friend circle.

He began studying the horoscopes of people he knew. Every chart became an opportunity to learn. Every conversation became a test of his understanding.

During this period, he came across several incidents that surprised even him.

In one case, while studying a horoscope, he shared an observation related to a serious health situation. What unfolded later left a deep impact on him.

That experience taught him one of the most important lessons of his journey:

"समय करे, नर क्या करे, समय बड़ा बलवान;असर ग्रह सब पर करें,परिंदा-पशु-इंसान"

For Jagmohan, astrology was never about claiming control over life and death. It was about understanding possibilities, recognising patterns and offering guidance while respecting the limits of human knowledge.

Experiences like these gave him the confidence to continue.

The Saturday That Strengthened His Belief

A friend’s brother had undergone brain surgery. The family had already spent around ₹4 to ₹4.5 lakh on the treatment. Some time later, complications appeared again when the stitches became infected.

It was a Saturday.

Worried about what to do next, the friend spoke to Jagmohan. Jagmohan asked a simple question:

“Aapke blood relation mein kaun hai?”

His friend told him that he had a daughter.

Based on his astrological understanding, Jagmohan suggested a remedy connected with the daughter. He asked his friend to follow it.

On Monday, the friend called him with unexpected news.

After conducting the required tests, the doctor reportedly told the patient that his condition was fine and that he could go home.

For Jagmohan, the incident was deeply surprising. It did not turn him into someone who claimed to replace doctors or medical treatment. Instead, it strengthened his confidence in the system he had spent years studying and practising.

Similar experiences continued to occur.

With every chart, every observation and every outcome, his confidence grew.

Eventually, astrology was no longer something he studied alongside his profession.

It became his profession.

Turning Astrology Into a Full-Time Career

Today, Astrologer Jagmohan Sapra has spent around 15 years studying and practising astrology.

Over the years, he estimates that he has studied nearly two lakh horoscopes.

His consultations cover some of the most important areas of people’s lives, including:

  • Health-related concerns
  • Career and professional growth
  • Marriage and relationships
  • Childbirth-related concerns
  • Foreign travel and settlement
  • Major life decisions and personal challenges

He has seen people return to him with stories of career progress, marriages that finally took place, foreign plans that moved forward and families who said they found hope after years of struggling with childbirth-related concerns.

For Jagmohan, these experiences became the reason to continue.

“Mujhe logon ki blessings milti hain,” he says. And for him, those blessings remain one of the most meaningful parts of his profession.

How COVID Took His Practice Beyond Borders

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Jagmohan’s practice largely depended on traditional, inperson consultations.

Then the world changed.

People could no longer visit offices freely, and meeting clients face-to-face became difficult. Instead of stopping his work, Jagmohan moved online.

That decision transformed his practice.

Since moving online, he estimates that he has studied around one lakh horoscopes through digital consultations alone.

Today, he attends clients both online and offline.

His work now reaches far beyond Ludhiana and India. People from the UK, Germany, the United States, Pakistan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai connect with him for consultations.

He has also consulted clients from Chinese, Korean and Bangladeshi backgrounds.

What began as a personal curiosity had now crossed countries, cultures and religions.

Astrology Beyond Religion

One belief remains central to Jagmohan Sapra’s practice:

Astrology does not belong to any one religion.

According to him, a person may visit a temple, mosque or gurdwara — astrology does not discriminate between them.

The planets do not change according to someone’s religion.

The universe does not follow man-made boundaries.

This belief has allowed him to work with people from different faiths, cultures and countries.

For him, astrology is not about asking someone to change their beliefs. It is about understanding the connection between human life, nature and the universe.

“We Are a Part of Nature”

Jagmohan explains his philosophy through a simple idea:

“Humara shareer nature ka hi ek part hai. Hum mein aur universe mein koi fark nahi hai — sab ek hi system ka hissa hain.”

This belief forms the foundation of his approach to remedies.

He does not want people to follow something simply because an astrologer told them to do it. He believes every suggestion should have reasoning behind it.

According to him, human beings exist within nature, not outside it. Therefore, his remedies focus on reconnecting people with natural elements and universal patterns.

He strongly rejects the idea that astrology should be based on fear or superstition.

For him, astrology deserves study, logic and disciplined practice.

A Scientific and Logical Approach to Astrology

Jagmohan Sapra describes astrology as a science of patterns, timing and observation.

His marketing background, years of study and extensive practical experience have shaped his approach. Instead of making dramatic claims, he studies each horoscope individually and tries to understand the situation through astrological principles.

He believes that asking questions is important.

Understanding the reason behind a remedy is important.

And most importantly, applying astrology responsibly is important.

His experience with health-related cases has particularly shaped his journey. However, he maintains a clear distinction between astrological guidance and medical treatment.

Doctors treat illness.

Astrology, in his view, may help people understand timing, patterns and possible influences — but life and death ultimately remain beyond human control.

A Laal Kitab and Vedic Astrology Expert

Today, Jagmohan Sapra works full-time as a Laal Kitab and Vedic Astrology Expert.

His journey did not begin with a plan to become an astrologer. It began with questions.

Those questions led him to different astrologers.

The search led him to his guru.

His guru gave him knowledge.

Practice gave him experience.

Real-life incidents gave him confidence.

And the trust of people turned that learning into a 15-year profession.

From a marketing professional in Ludhiana to an astrologer who has studied nearly two lakh horoscopes and connected with people across the world, Jagmohan Sapra’s story is ultimately about one thing:

Finding a calling that he never planned — but continued to follow, one horoscope at a time.
