For Dr. Kamalpreet Dhiman, becoming a doctor was an achievement in itself. A desire to help people has led to a profession spanning more than 15 years in Ayurveda and cosmetology. She currently uses that experience in her Phase 5 clinic in Mohali, with a main focus on aesthetic medicine and clinical cosmetology and a personalised approach that also draws on Panchkarma and yoga.
The Beginning of Her Journey
From Ayurvedic Studies to Clinical Practice
Dr. Dhiman graduated with a BAMS from Chandigarh’s Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College. She then gained practical experience with a variety of patients and health issues while working at hospitals throughout the Tricity.
During those years, she developed a hypothesis that continues to direct her work: spend time getting to know the person causing the symptoms.
A Growing Interest in Skin and Aesthetics
Expanding Her Skills in Clinical Cosmetology
As her interest in skin, hair and aesthetic care grew, Dr. Dhiman obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology. Today, aesthetic medicine and clinical cosmetology are central to her practice. She brings this training together with her experience in Ayurveda and Panchkarma, and incorporates yoga guidance where appropriate, to plan care around each patient’s concerns and goals.
Looking Beyond the Immediate Concern
Personalised Care That Starts With Understanding
PCOD, infertility, skin and hair conditions, and esthetic issues are among Dr. Dhiman’s areas of special interest. Before suggesting a customized course of treatment, she considers potential contributing variables to each issue.
Her method includes in-depth expertise, attentive listening, and a dedication to giving patients information and support all along the way.
Her Practice in Mohali
A Doctor and Mother of Two
At the moment, Dr. Dhiman works at Phase 5, Mohali, Punjab. As a mother of two, she understands how easily everyday responsibilities may take precedence over well-being. She strives to foster an atmosphere at her workplace where individuals feel comfortable discussing their concerns and advancing their wellbeing.
