Grand Christmas Procession to Begin from Christ Church
On Christmas Day, the Tricity Churches Association will stage a big Christmas procession in the city on Tuesday. President Lawrence Malik of the Association said in his statement that the march would start at 11 am from Christ Church, Sector 18.

The procession will also travel through the prominent sectors of the citySectors 19, 27, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24before ending at the Rally Ground in Sector 25. Along the route, there will be people in large numbers lining the streets who have come to see and greet the festive march.
40 Colourful Floats and Cultural Performances
One of the most anticipated features of the parade will be the nearly 40 vibrant floats that various churches across the Tricity have prepared. Religious hymns and carols, along with vibrant cultural performances from the stage, will entertain people and keep them engaged throughout the event.
Special Programme and Community Langar at Rally Ground:
On reaching the Rally Ground, apart from the special cultural programme, a community langar (free meal) will be there for the devotees, signifying the sharing, equality, and compassion which are the main characteristics of Christmas.
Market Associations Join the Celebrations:
Several market associations in the city have supported the event. The Sector 24 Market Association has made special arrangements to welcome the procession with refreshments. Association representative Ravinder Singh Billa assured that the participants will receive warm and well-organized hospitality.
