Residents under the leadership of President Jasveer Singh Goyat discuss civic issues and development plans.The executive committee meeting of the RWA of Sector 28, Panchkula, was an important one as they deliberated on the key civic concerns, besides the development plans for the area and also the ways to enhance the security of the sector.
RWA President Jasveer Singh Goyat, who was presiding over the meeting, pointed out that it was necessary to have coordinated efforts if one really wanted to see an improvement in the quality of life of residents in general.
RWA Plot Discussion Take Center Stage:
At the session, they vigorously advocated solutions to the many civic issues plaguing the residential area of Sector 28. The members took sanitation and cleanliness in the residential areas very seriously, and they made it a priority among other issues they needed to solve in Sector 28. Also, they raised maintenance and repair of street lights as one of the most urgently needed steps they must take for the improvement of the sector. Furthermore, they discussed various aspects of the public parks, such as maintenance and beautification besides the extension of the park area. They also deliberated on the issue of traffic jam management in the area and block and found ways to solve it. Lastly, they talked about the issue of strengthening safety and security measures, thus acquiring more comprehensive protection.
The committee urged that it was of great importance not only to take timely action but also to collaborate efficiently with various government departments in order to achieve solutions to these problems.
