Chandigarh Students’ Innovations Selected for National INSPIRE Exhibition

Chandigarh Student Innovations

Chandigarh Student Innovations are gaining attention for tackling problems people face in everyday life. From improving patient care to making road travel safer, local students are developing ideas that could make a difference. Chandigarh students have earned a place at the National INSPIRE Exhibition with 11 innovative projects, including three from government schools. These projects highlight the creativity and practical thinking of young innovators.

Chandigarh Student Innovations Solving Real Problems

Such selection of projects shows how children are able to observe problems that adults do not notice. These young inventors do not create models for exhibiting purposes, but think about patients, pet owners and passengers who need easier inventions.

Such an exhibition highlights how children observe things and invent something useful from what they observe. This event provides an opportunity to the school children to exhibit their inventions outside the school environment.

Chandigarh Student Innovations in Patient Care

One project is concerned about the problem of bedsores in people who spend a lot of time in bed. Patients like that can have difficulty moving themselves without assistance. When pressure occurs on one spot of the skin, bedsores can form.

This idea of the student utilizes sensors that will allow nurses to keep an eye on the situation and react accordingly. This is an attempt to improve health care, though it needs some verification to be used in practice.

Smart Pet Training: A Student Innovation

Yet another project called “Pet Trainer” concerns the possibilities offered by voice commands and mini-device that may assist owners of pets in solving their issues. The primary task of the student was to make the process of training easier for people who cannot find enough time to train their pets.

This project shows how technology can solve everyday problems and make life easier.”

Efficiency is still in question.

Student Innovation for Safer Seat Belts

In addition to this, another innovation has also been brought in the area of the seat belt anchor of a car. In this regard, the student finds out that there might be some discomfort among the passengers because of the use of fixed seat belts.

Hence, the innovation presented by the student is the use of a seat belt anchor which can be adjustable by the user. This will keep the passenger comfortable without compromising on safety.

Government Schools Make Their Mark

Amongst the 11 projects from Chandigarh chosen for the national exhibition, three belong to government schools. This demonstrates that there is creativity in every kind of classroom.

As mentioned in the newspaper, the national level exhibition was planned to continue till October 14th. Here are some of the projects which show the kind of problems faced by the students and how they propose to solve them.

The good news here is that innovation doesn’t always have to start with an expensive laboratory and a complex gadget. There are times when the idea comes to mind because of some problem experienced at home, at a hospital or even on the road.

Apart from that, teachers and families play a part in developing these initial ideas into a prototype. Their experience can help children understand about expenses, usability and possible risks associated with the project.

For the schools in Chandigarh, this selection will definitely be a source of pride. For the students, this will give them a platform to showcase their skills and learn from it.
