People often assume that pageants are only for those who meet conventional beauty standards, but this belief does not reflect reality.. While physical appearance does play a role, inner qualities such as confidence, perspective, determination and the drive to succeed are just as important. This understanding became clear to me when I participated in a pageant and won the title,” said Geetanjali, the winner of Forever Miss Teen Chandigarh 2025.
Sixteen-year-old Geetanjali, a commerce student from Sector 43, shared her experience after returning from the pageant held in Udaipur. She revealed that she had aspired to be part of a beauty pageant since childhood. After spotting a post on social media, she filled out the registration form without informing anyone. She cleared the preliminary rounds, advanced through the state-level competition and reached the national finals, where 101 contestants participated. Representing the spirit of today’s Indian youth, Geetanjali secured a spot among the top three and eventually claimed the crown.
New Opportunities After the Title
Speaking about her interests, Geetanjali said she is passionate about music, dance and sports. A four-time inter-school badminton champion, she is also a green belt holder in taekwondo and a state-level player. With modeling now becoming a significant part of her life, she aims to build a career in the field. She views this achievement as the beginning of her journey and plans to continue preparing while giving equal importance to her education. Her short-term goals include participating in Miss India, Femina India and Diva India, which she believes will pave the way for greater opportunities and eventually take her to the Miss World stage.
Reflecting on her early entry into the fashion industry, she shared that she has been associated with fashion for the past two years and is now transitioning into professional modeling. According to her, fashion sharpens one’s sense of style, while knowledge improves overall performance. In modeling, she emphasized that posture, walk and self-presentation are vital, as confidence on the ramp leaves a lasting impact. During the pageant, she received valuable guidance from renowned choreographer and fashion show director Shay Lobo, who trained the contestants in ramp walk techniques and S and D poses.
