Akansha lives in Mohali. She holds an MBA from Panjab University.

Instead, she followed her heart. In 2017, she launched Budding Star – a parenting platform for reliable information on child development, baby care, women’s health, and smart living.

Akansha noticed something deeper. Mothers needed more than information. They needed a safe, judgment-free space. So in November 2017, she started Parenting Mom Style (PMS) on Facebook. A small group of women turned into a movement.
Today, PMS proudly supports 63,000+ Indian moms and moms-to-be. And the world recognized her work. In 2023 and 2024, Women’s Web & Convosight named PMS the Best Facebook Group. “Mothers grow when they feel heard,” she says.

While talking to thousands of parents, Akansha discovered her true calling. She became a children’s author and storyteller. She realized stories shape a child’s emotional and moral foundation – beautifully and naturally. So she started conducting online and offline storytelling workshops for children aged 3–11 years.
